Dr. Jaime Pettenon (“Dr. Jaime”) is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is originally from the southwest suburbs and is thrilled to be practicing close to her roots here at Bite Size.
Dr. Jaime received a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Spanish from Northwestern University in Evanston. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois (UIC) College of Dentistry and completed an honors program in Pediatric Dentistry. Upon graduating, she received the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) Certificate of Merit Award and the Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation Award. After dental school, she completed a two-year residency and earned a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at UIC while also earning her MS in Oral Sciences.
Dr. Jaime is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Association, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Jaime strives to make every child’s first visit to the dentist a positive experience to encourage a lifelong commitment to oral health. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and their families while working together to help them achieve healthy smiles. Outside of the office, Dr. Jaime enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter, gathering with family and friends, traveling, and reading.
