Dr. Amy Lin (“Dr. Amy”) is a Board Eligible Pediatric Dentist and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).
Dr. Amy grew up in Buffalo Grove, IL and attended Stevenson High School. Dr. Amy graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry. She obtained her D.M.D. degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Amy completed her pediatric residency at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) / University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After completing her residency, Dr. Amy earned her Master of Science in Oral Biology (MSOB) degree at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Amy previously taught at the University of Pennsylvania School of dental medicine and worked in private practice in the Philadelphia suburbs while she worked towards her master’s degree. Dr. Amy would not be here without her teachers, and loved teaching at Penn Dental Medicine. Dr. Amy wants to set your child up for success and aims to deliver comfortable treatment with kindness and empathy—she strongly believes that every tooth is attached to a person!
In her free time, Dr. Amy LOVES fishing, running, getting her steps in with Pokemon Go, eating as a Yelp Elite member, watching women’s hockey & basketball, and collecting Pokémon cards & Squishmallows. She spends time with her husband, Joseph, her dog, Sirius, and her bunny, Sweet Potato. Dr. Amy is excited to be returning to the Chicago area to join the team at Bite Size Pediatric Dentistry!
